September 29, 2006. David Donaldson spoke at a Continuing Legal Education seminar sponsored by Cumberland School of Law in Birmingham, Alabama on Consumer Law. Donaldson's presentation on the The Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) included a discussion of RESPA disclosures required in connection with settlements, RESPA's provisions governing administration of Escrow Accounts, RESPA's Qualified Written Request (QWR) provisions, and RESPA’s prohibitions against kickbacks and mark-ups.

August 5, 2003. David Donaldson spoke at a Sarbanes-Oxley seminar sponsored by the National Business Institute in Birmingham, Alabama. Donaldson has authored two articles on the Sarbanes-Oxley Act: An Outline Of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act and Audit Committee Liability under the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
